3 Days, 2 Nights Safari – Kidepo Valley National Park

Your Samuwa Adventure Safaris driver-guide will meet you at 05:00hrs for a briefing and then begin the long but scenic journey to the northeast of Uganda.

The drive takes you through Luweero, Gulu or Kitgum, and into the Karamoja region, with en-route breakfast and lunch along the way.

Continue the journey through the vast landscapes toward Kaabong District, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
Check in at your lodge, refresh, and prepare for an evening game drive within the park where you may spot elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, giraffes, and predators starting their nightly movements.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive on the open savannah plains of Kidepo, home to some of Africa’s rarest species.

Expect sightings of: Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyenas, Several antelope species, Large flocks of Ostriches and Impressive birds of prey

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short relaxation.

In the afternoon, proceed for a Karamojong cultural encounter. Visit the communities of Kapedo or Karema, where you will explore traditional homesteads (kraals), learn about their livestock culture, see grinding stones, and enjoy stories, songs, and crafts from the local people.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Kampala or to your preferred drop-off location.

There will be en-route stopovers for stretching, refreshments, and lunch.

Arrive in the evening, completing your safari with unforgettable memories of the wild beauty of Kidepo Valley.
