3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your place of accommodation at 05:30hrs. This early departure allows us to smoothly pass Kampala before traffic builds up.

Your journey west begins with a stopover at the Equator for a warm breakfast and a brief water-flow experiment demonstration. You may also enjoy the local craft shops and coffee stalls.

The drive continues through sweeping landscapes of banana plantations, coffee fields, and rural communities—eventually transitioning into the elevated plains of Kyazanga.
We then proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, where you'll get a chance to spot zebras, impalas, and if lucky, the majestic eland—all viewed from the comfort of your safari vehicle.

We then head to Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre. Across the valley, you will see the famous solar eclipse monument of 1520.

After lunch, we continue with scenic views of ranches, crater lakes, rolling hills, and lush countryside until we arrive at your lodge for check-in.

In the evening, you will head out for your first game drive, offering a perfect introduction to the wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Half Board

Start your day with an early 05:30hrs breakfast, then depart for the morning game drive.

Expect to encounter: African elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Waterbucks & Uganda kobs, Hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Tree-climbing lions and Small mammals including banded mongoose

You will also stop at Bunyampaka/Kasenyi Salt Lake, where you will learn about traditional salt extraction and the meaning behind its two names.

Your guide will follow different game tracks to maximize chances of wildlife encounters, ending the drive near Kyambura Gorge, an impressive natural rift hosting a rainforest and chimpanzees (viewing from above only, no tracking included).

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

In the afternoon, enjoy a 2–3 hour cruise along the famed Kazinga Channel, a hotspot for wildlife viewing.
Expect close-up sightings of: Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, and Elephants at the water edge and Large flocks of water birds including kingfishers, cormorants, jacanas, eagles, storks, and more.

Your guide will meet you at the jetty afterward and transfer you back to the lodge.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out.

Your return route takes you through the beautiful Fort Portal – Mubende road, offering views of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges—Uganda’s tallest and snow-capped peaks.

In Fort Portal, you will get glimpses of the magnificent Toro Kingdom Palace, home to King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru.

After lunch, the journey continues past lush tea plantations, forests, and rolling countryside until you reach Kampala or your preferred drop-off location.
